I know of Frozen-Bubble. You mean any game where two or more players can play in the same machine (which in turn-based games doesn't really need to mean split-screen) or just those with split-screen? (and probably real-time)?

@Gallaecio: I'm interested in all two-players-one-machine games, but am mostly interested in real-time, co-op (oh-so rare) ones.

@Edward_Lii: I didn't! Thanks!

@Skorpio: How could I have forgotten!? :D

Now I'm thinking about it you're right there are only a few realtime hotseat multiplayer open source games.

But don't worry, F.L.A.W. can be played multiplayer. (Not split-screen)
And YoFrankie! off course!

One problem with split screen support is most keyboards don't support pressing more than 2 or 3 keys simultaneously, which really inhibits how many players can share it.

@Edward_Lii: Hotseat means "first you play, then you play".
Yo Frankie has split-screen? Neat! Gotta try this out!

@charlie: I have three gamepad controllers (one not working yet :|) and two keyboards connected, so the horrible input problem is no more issue for me :)

Oh off course, how stupid! :?

Anyway, here are some more multiplayer games:

Slime Volley isn't split-screen, but surely is "two-players-one-machine real-time game".
FreeSiege is too, but it's still missing some art.
