Introduce yourself

Re: Introduce yourself

Welcome Klaus. :)
If you look at the left-hand side of this page you will find information about the code and tools. The section "Game engine documentation" looks very outdated unfortunately, but STK has good Doxygen documentation in its sources, and the programmers are happy to answer questions over at the SuperTuxKart section of this board, at the mailing list or at the IRC channel.
Hey pal, I took an oath for justice! "In happy days or tightest tights..." or something like that.

Hi, Alexei Barnes here, planning on helping out with OpenDungeons as I was a big fan of dungeon keeper, and a Computer Science student at the University of Kent.

i am doktor finkelstein from germany.

i think open source is the only way to develop software. creating open source games is hard for various reason.

i have been a "lurker" for quite some time. *spotlight:* here i am!

Hi, I'm TwnTurbo and I love RE. It seems there are a lot of developers here... nice! I'm trying to become a videogame developer for PC's and consoles alike. But, that will happen in years to come. Now, I'm here trying to make new maps for all to play! :P

Hello!

Greets to all the people involved in STKs development. STK is one of my favourite games I often play with my family.

Go on!

Fan of STK from the Deep South in the USA. Fantastic game, registering initially to note some bugs in the release candidate.

Those of you who program and design these games are wonderfully talented!

I'm Clasic_travellerD I used to lurk here 2 years ago under the name clasic_traveller_diehard (then i did the Mormon mission thing best experience of my life i might add) any ways I came back and saw that most of the places I used to find games for linux news either closed up(ubuntu gamer) of or fell in to disrepair(happy penguin) so I'm glad to see this place is still around :)

I learned a new word today.

You should hang out on #freegamer (be warned, IRC means saying something and then leaving the chat open for 8 hours while doing something else to then re-enter the discussion).

I'm SpiritOfOnyx, more of an artist then developer. Really got into computer gaming with none other then Runescape, then decided gaming wasn't enough and became a developer. Proud owner of an asus transformer TF101, and am on the prowl for a game engine that lets me develop for android without hard code, because I'm a noob scripter.

I'm 16 and lived my entire life in minnesota, though people tell me I have a british accent.

Hey. I'm Silvian, and my background is more database-centric, (including mostly programming languages that play nice with RDBS's, Java, Python, etc) so I probably won't be able to contribute much artistically, but I'm still very intrigued by the work everyone here puts in, and would like to help out any way I can.

Hello, I'm lalimace. I'm coming on this site to provide my ability with translating english to french AND the fact that I'm a pro musician. I don't know if you plan to write original music for the game, but I can do it if you do...
