Battle track concept

Out of nowhere, I thought of an idea for a future battle track. The idea I came up with is an enclosed shopping area with an animated fountain in the centre. I drew out a layout diagram as I envisioned it, but then I figured it was a bit confusing, so I made a rough 3D model.

I'm imagining it with earthy colour tones, lots of masonry, stone ground (like this), several unique storefronts with displays in them, etc. Unfortunately all of the unique texturing work is way beyond my abilities, so I'm just leaving this here as a concept, in case somebody else wants to try their hand at it.

STKed has 10 shop textures. Maybe we could use those.

Perhaps. I did look at some of those textures, although they don't seem to share a consistent theme. Also, I'm not quite sure where they came from (for licenses, etc), so they are likely not usable for that reason either.

Looks nice. Now if you can make it... ;)

Could you be more clear about your concept ?
I've some difficulties to imagine

I did a little bit of work last week to see if I could turn the concept into something. The attached file is as far as I got. If you decide to run it in STK, prepare for some eyestrain. I didn't add a skydome/box so there is many graphical issues.

Basically if you look at the track, I was hoping that behind each of the shop windows there would be a unique display (preferably not a flat texture - that's kind of boring)

If you look at the track model in blender, you'll find a ramp that goes below the track, which is a result of my habit of hiding secret areas in everything I make :D
This could be the location of a hidden "easter egg" if completed.

(also, I'm not sure if the textures I found are GPL-compatible with licensing; some places say that CC-BY is not GPL compatible, but that seems counter-intuitive)
