How about "Lost City"? I definitely think you should add creeping plants/vines.

and a knight crossing the road! (on a wooden-horse!?) :D

(Yes I just said to not put a cannon on the minigolf track, I know. It's my second mind :) )
Anyway it looks better and better with time, I cannot wait!

It can look like pirate harbor with barrel and palm tree (Name: The Pirate Harbor ?)
Why not gunpowder barrel on the road that explode if you hit them. This could add difficulty
I hope you will not forget http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/68144 :D

i don't know, if the name is good for this track, because for this you need a lot of water outside like an island and some ships

some obejcts are from http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/68144, like the barrels, but i will add more objects

i added the windmill from http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/68144 and some barrels on the ground, it's animated :)

instead of movable barrels i can make, that you explode, when you hit them,

do you think, that this is a good idea???

what is about the name???, do you think the name "The Pirate Harbor" is good for this???

Pirate harbor was surely a bad idea (the texture and architecture made me think about it)

rubberduck {l Wrote}:instead of movable barrels i can make, that you explode, when you hit them,

This was what i tried to explain you :)

You can maybe also add cannon (just an idea)

The upward- and downward-turns are a little bit bumpy on the inner side. The track also kinda feels a bit dark and/or empty too.. but I see you're still working on it. Fun map ! :)

Hi,

I had a quick drive: it looks indeed very nice - my compliments (it somehow made me think of some dungeons in Skyrim ;) ). But I had some problems with the actual driving: due to the constant downhill sections (I think) I found it sometimes very hard to know where to drive. An example is the screenshot you have posted (sorry, don't know how to resize the image, the documented ways of using width= ... do apparently not work here)
Image
For me at least it certainly looks like you have to drive through the gate. But there were other places with similar issues.

Otherwise: finding an appropriate name is indeed difficult. What about thinking of creating a complete GP - e.g. set in a different world, consisting of various towers, and in each tower is a differently themed race. Not sure ... call it brainstorming ;)

Cheers,
Joerg

Uni {l Wrote}:The upward- and downward-turns are a little bit bumpy on the inner side.it

i know this, when i started to make this track, they were more bumpy, i will clean this i also have to improve the drivelines, i will do this together

Uni {l Wrote}:The track also kinda feels a bit dark and/or empty too

i added some more objects after uploading the track, i also have to re-bake the lightmaps, before i van add some more lights

the idea is good, but i don't have so much time for this, i also want to get minigolf-track ready and i want to work on the object-collection

The palm trees look very out of place. It is a low light environment so the plants should be as such; vines and other creepers.

To make the track less empty, you want to use things like statues and ornamental walls.

This Buddha would be good, for example:
http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/38409

You could place this in the arch (alcove) mentioned above, for example.

You could also try to place a massive buddha (or 2-3 side by side) at one end of the cavern.

You could use some of these lamps too. (Not sure of the lighting mechanisms though...)

This track would be ideal for a terracotta army but I can't find suitable 3D models. (Perhaps 2D cutouts would work?)

Other ideas would be ornamental statues on the walls (e.g. like dragon below) and other such decorations (e.g. gargoyles).
