Hi everyone!

Long time, no siege. I just have too much work for the university for now, so I can't spend the time I want for STK...

So, I said once I wanted to try to make the 3-strikes battle mode icon. I did not do the icon for now, but here is my "top secret reearch programm". First, I was thinking about something totally new ((1 -> 4), then thought about facing the karts (5). As it was too short for detailed karts, I decided then to re-use the soccer icon (for constency), and to put more depth (and thus gain place for karts, 6 -> 11).
This is what I got for know:


I someone (Totoplus62? ) wants to make a such icon (IMHO the best would clearly look like the number 11), just feel free to make it. If not, I'll find enough time... at the end of june (after my exams.). I could be good to keep the karts drawn for the actual 3-strikes battle mode, and use the new official 2d cake.

I took 3 minuts, it can surely be improved.



I just noticed that other icons don't have a black highline around them except easter egg's mode, but it fits well in game IMHO.
Uh, and we don't currently have a boxing glove in game. Is it a real problem? I'm not sure...

Second Edit: added "triple baaaaam" try; I won't post any other proposal before feedback . I just noticed errors on the top of the triple baam, but I'll correct it if it is chosen.

Thanks for this so good game, I really enjoy it!

I suggest to avoid written numbers. This way it is easier for young children (before the go to school) and it is language neutral.

The version with the three stars is my favourite. I only suggest to move them a bit apart from each other.

the idea is not bad, but it doesn't really fit with the others; it looks a bit hand-drawn whereas others have a mathematical precision, it has small black edges while others have thick colored edges, etc. I think we should aim for consistency

I don't think boxing gloves is the best idea while it is not in the game, i've an idea with current item i will try to show you soon

Be cautious, this is not a proper icon at all (made in 5 minutes)

I just want to know if you like the concept to make it be proper

Hi, it's funny ^^ what I'm less sure about is what it will look like at the actual size : atm it's quite large, and in-game it may be 60x60 or so, and at that size what it is may not be clear; there may be a need to make something with a bit less detail so that it can scale down and remain readable

Yes but auria was right: it has to stay readable and there will be too much element with this bowling concept

I really like your concept; keep working on it!
Maybe you could remove a bowling ball, put one on the left and the cake on the right.

Main problem I see is that the shield is the dominant item in this icon, while a shield is not part of STK (atm). Perhaps using a bubble gum sphere/balloon or so? We might wait till the bubble-gum-as-shield branch is merged into trunk.

Yes but it was to show to the player this is a battle thanks to this icon
I wanted to do an effect like this ->
It will look weird if we put a bubble gum instead of the shied, people will not understand

I like the idea or the circle arena, which keeps constency with other icons! (even if I'm the best to forget constency )

The media directory doesn't seems to be up to date. I can't find the svg of new race mode icons.

Anyone feel free to make it look better, since I have put all needed files here and I don't have time to make it ( I'm currently working on the network lobby )

I doesn't really like this concept even if this is proper.
This is just my opinion

I let you the priority since I have tons of work (for stk and my studies... still 400 pages to go before tomorrow evening with my environmental political science course exam )

I think both xenux and your ideas are nice, so... let's make a vote?
