i have here the newest version of the track for all, who wants to test it and to see the changes

in the actual track-file, there is the soundfile, but i have problems with the sound-emitter at the moment.
you can delete the sound-emitter from the blend-file(empty named sound-emitter) and re-export it.

i have the buggy sound in the track, because i want, that someone looks over it, to get out, why the sound-problem is.

Your track is beautiful. I have started to add your textures and corridors into my planetarium skybox.

I have changed the path for many reason:
* I prefer to have two track. A space ship track and planetarium. It's more diversity and I like when track in the core package aren't in addons
* The new space ship has many big windows so you can show what's going on outside and it provides a panoramic view of stars, planets, nebulas

If i understand this is your new planetarium ? Seems very promizing and looks like a space base; I think it has to stay as "open" as possible with wide round windows to make it look really different from space ship.
So planetarium will replace the old one and Space ship will replace Xr591, no ? (Xr591 look like "odds and ends" :| "Bric a brac" in french)

Hi!

While this spaceship track looks very good, I just thought: Why not re-use it for a Xonotic race? In fact, the first time I played on it, I thought I was playing Xonotic ;)

Uh, now you MUST make us a big spaceship battle arena!

(Who said I am exigeant? :) )

I think Planetarium remplace Startarck and "Spaceship", is a new add track (and don't remplace other track).

Hi!

Small bug ;)

A Wring way at the bad place. I think it's with the drivelines. See the attached image, it's just before the starting point in the classic direction.

You don't understand me.

I think, "Spaceship" add with other original track. (Not in the addons)

Ok, yes but i think you made an english mistake.

STK is only 170 mb while battle for wesnoth (not a 3D game :p) is a 340 mb game, so this is not a problem to add a track
If i remember Mario kart wii has 32 tracks divided is eight cup.

That doesn't mean we should add all add-on tracks in Stk :!: :!: They have to be as good as possible :)

IMHO we can go up to 300 Mo. I don't have a problem with that. But before including new track we should improve existing one. That's a lot of work to maintain a large number of track. Now we have 20 tracks. For me it's a good number.

I prefer to have 20 beautiful tracks :).
But I'm not against increasing the polycount and the texture resolution :).

and "Spaceship", is a new add track (and don't remplace other track).

For the moment we have planned to make a "mix" between the space ship and the skybox "planetarium". This new track (probably named planetarium) will replace stars track.

Space ship is a beautiful track but it has some problems (like no UV seams) and no windows. I don't spend a lot of hours trying to make volumetric nebula and planet to not see them ^^. Planetarium will have BIG windows, to see the universe outside.

I also have planned to add a black hole but I'm not sure how I can do this.

Maybe add a wrap tunnel with boosters through a spinning black hole? (Sort of like the path through sea serpent in SubSea.) I don't know if this would fit the style of the track, just a suggestion.

If you mean not knowing how to implement it as part of the track, I had this idea:
wormholeidea.png
The track would circle around the centre of the black hole, with bits of flying space debris coming in the opposite direction, towards the player.
(This part of the track would be covered in the zipper texture and the karts would get a constant boost while driving on this section)
