Track label bug in Overworld

I just noticed that the text when I got near a track pillar in the Overworld, showed "overworld" instead of the track name.

This bug does not appear where you select difficulty (when a track is started in overworld).

In which version? if you use the release candidate it should not happen.

I am not using the release candidate, but the SVN version from a few days before.

I may not know what I'm talking about but as far as I understand, there's not much point reporting bugs from older versions of the game, because the chances are they've probably been fixed.

I would think so yes. But we can't download nighlty build daily. That would ruin our parents financial situation!

We download monthly and extras when we want to. I'll see about getting it.

Strange, since we can't reproduce this. Do you do anything special, or does it happen all the time? Any idea on how to reproduce it.

I am just wondering (since there is one other issue we can't reproduce): if you do a challenge when this happens, and get a highscore - is the highscore attributed to you, or to guest? (It might be helpful to rename highscore.xml so that you always get a highscore, and just copy it back afterwards).A very wild guess I admit ... but who knows

The bug seems to be only on my computer, also the bug does not appear when you go inside a Grand Prix bubble.

Does it happen with all bubbles, or only some? I.e. only solved bubbles, or unsolved? Do you do anything special - doing some races first, changing config or so?

Can you perhaps post the .xml files from the supertuxkart directory - if it only happens on one computer it might be caused by some inconsistencies in the user data files. Or perhaps try to copy the data files from one computer to the other.
