I think the visual complaint about the aquaduct misses the point that ctdabomb has only mocked this up and would be adding the detail later.

Here was my mock up (not too dissimilar) for using the ships:

Couldn't that tower be a light house instead?

It sure could. I guess the reason I didn't say that was because there is a track called lighthouse, although (IMHO) it isn't very good.

I see and I guess you are right about the lighthouse being there. It could be a different one or a ruined tower from a castle.

now i like that idea! :) the only problem is, it seems like there is never much peripheral??? vision, or what I mean is that it seems like you only see what is right in front of you and never much scenery.....

Edit: here is the aqueduct now more aqueducty:

Maybe in one of the "x-marks the spot" places that I have marked on the map that you have posted.

Edit: I can read. Yeah, I agree with you, but you might be able to make it peripheral even where I have suggested where to place the ruined tower.

I disagree with you Barsook.

If you look at my last 2 mockups, you'll see that the curve at the top of the hill is quite large - large enough for a significant castle/tower that would be visible from most of the map.

I'll see if I can develop the mockup further to entice ctdabomb to be a bit more faithful to it.

I like what you are doing ctdabomb. Please take my further mockup as suggestional only, I'm sure you have plenty of ideas yourself.

I'd also add that I've overdone the scale on the features - obviously the scale should be more inline with the town. (I wasn't in the mood to do the mockup a 2nd time with better scale!) Also, please note, pink arrows are intended to signify hill slope direction only.

I quite like the idea of the alternative route in the town - one route is tougher with tighter turns but a shortcut.

I think the viaduct would be better if it were arched. Also, having a train on tp of it (next to the roadway (as a narrow area) would be nice

As a railway nerd, I'm likely to get upset if there are any glaring errors on the viaduct  feel free to ask for advice though :)

Yeah, this was what I had in mind (the viaduct where grew up) which has nice big arches:

OK here goes..... Here is another version and style of England track which is progressing a lot. this version uses Charlie's latest mock-up but I do not follow it 100%. Please let me know your thoughts though please do not report obvious bugs like the shape of the grass or castle or aqueduct or bridge as this is a WIP and I am very well aware of them..

hello all, here is another version. I think that I am getting very close to submitting this to addons, but there is one bug. in the tower/castle there is a door with a different texture then the stone. it doesn't show up in the game. it only shows the stone texture. I attached a picture of what it looks like in blender, and should look like in game.

That "Strange Bush". The lines up there look like they come from the bottom of the bush texture. You should find that that is how high the bush actually is.

Sorry about not being as active lately, but I finally got this finished up!(I hope) Everything should be good except for I didn't get the tower bug fixed. doesn't matter that much though. It is on stkaddons.net not approved ATM. have fun!

The new version is just great! :) congratulations!

May I just notice a (really little) thing?
You should rename puffi's bar to puffy's bar, for constency ;)
