Achievements system

Hello!

I was thinking SuperTuxKart could be even more fun if Achievements module would be added. I know challenges are already there but these would be different type of achievemts. Let me give some examples:

flyer = achieved if the player jumps at least 20 m long
perfectionist = finish a grand prix with all possible points
supreme = finish a race at least 30 seconds before next oponent
bowler = hit rival carts with bowing ball at least 6 times during a race
cupcake master = hit rival carts with a cake at least 6 times during a race
from zero to hero = be at the last place when the last lap starts and win the race
speed freak = hold speed of 300 km/h for at least 5 seconds
supertuxkart fan = drive 100 km (in total)
etc.

I think these examples clarify what i meant to suggest.
For each achievement a player would get some sort of trophy similar to challenges. I think some interesting challenges might make game much more interesting but i don't know how difficult this might be to code.

Hi,

I agree this could be interesting. However for now we are only 2 core developers and have much on our plates so we probably won't be able to do that now
