New Lava Fields track

New Lava Fields track

Postby ctdabomb » 07 Feb 2012, 16:43

I started a lava track which is quite fun, but needs a lot of work. Please play it and give me suggestions. I am not sure what type of scenery to put in, but I was thinking lava fields with a castle somewhere or volcano.

Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

Ludsky {l Wrote}:- You should enlarge the walls as a labyrinth

I originally had that, but then you couldn't see any scenerey, so I lowered them.
Ludsky {l Wrote}:- Making holes lava in the middle of the track to be forced to take the "wizz"

there is one hole that you have to take if you right at the split, I might make some more holes, but I am not sure.
Ludsky {l Wrote}:- Making a lava fountains

I'll probably do that
Ludsky {l Wrote}:- Put a statue of Dragon (Kongi).....

maybe

thanks for the suggestions ;)

I must say that I don't like a few things about this track. First of all, the bottom you drive on is not very visible, making it very hard to see the holes after the jumps. Then, those jumps do not power you enough to get over the holes if you are at low speed (crashed in another car, got reset after falling into the hole, or whatever). At places there is no real way around the track (namely where the roads divide) which makes it impossible to advance any further (if you do not drive back and take the other road, which results in annoyance — and won't make people like your track ;) ).
And finally, all that moving lava below the meshes you drive on is really freaking me out. I cannot drive more than 2 laps without becoming crazy :D

In most places you don't have to jump over the holes, so that is a choice you have to make if you are going to risk it or not.
you can make it all the way around the track.
the lava is kind of crazy :)
