Thanks. I don't have time to add this material to our wiki, but it can stay here in the forum for people that need it! :)

BTW, correct French translation for "tutorial" is "didacticiel" and not "tutoriel" ;)

No, “tutoriel” is the correct word, “didacticiel” is a type of software.

Thanks for the page
Check http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Discover :)

I would just like to comment on what you wrote :
Note du traducteur concernant les licences:

Les licences "n'engagent que ceux qui les croient". Je suis persuadé que certaines personnes partagent sous licence libre du matériel qui ne l'est pas: il n'est pas rare que sur des site de partage que des modèles soient fait avec des textures de CG Galery :( .

Concernant le mélange des licences dans du travail de composition, je vous dis : ce qui n'est pas illégal est légal, et aucune loi n'agit rétroactivement, donc ne vous génez pas, soyez créatifs (sous licence libre ;))

1) Indeed there are license violations out there. But the idea is to protect ourselves :) If someone else posted copyrighted material on a website saying "this is public domain", then they are the one that will most likely be sued, not us
2) regarding combining licenses, please note that the original license page does NOT say that no law currently exists, it only says that *I* am not a lawyer and that I have no idea how the laws that exist work

The note is not very clear... To me, it's simpler to only say "STK cannot feature bad-licenced creations, so be careful when you re-use existing material in your work."

I found this :
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.fr.html#ModifyGPL

I think it mean "CC-by-SA 3+" + "GNU-GPL" = "CC-by-SA 3+"
They are the most used licenses, so it's a good news

Hello everyone.
On ubuntu-fr I've read you needed some French speakers to translate the website into French, I wanted to know if I can join the other French translators to do so.
À bientôt !

As translator of many pages of the wiki, I can say that 3D/blender translations must be done by someone who knows the technic. I think it could be the same for other specialities.

A second note, translations must be in real french and not "google" language.

Then you're welcome

I don't think I have a "google" way of speaking French as I'm French.
I'm studying English and Spanish at university.
I was talking about translating the web pages.

It wasn't an attack ( I did Google translations, this is why... )

As you're like a better than me, you can also translate blender pages :D I would be happy.
I'm not the leader, Auria is.

I can guide you to the wiki :

http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Sandbox

There is a big french community around supertuxkart
