My first STK track

My first STK track

Postby wciow » 21 Sep 2011, 21:49

Hi all, I made a new track for STK called Lava land. This is my first track for STK just to get to know how it works.

Please comment on how to improve my track :)

Suggestions -
Boulders are too heavy, too many zippers at the start
It is NOT, as I know some people will say, too challenging of a path to follow; it just requires skill, which I like.
And around the path with the boulder jumping out of the lava, there are some wierd reset glitches...
S'all for now :)

Please do so - this is an exceptional track even for a first version, I'm sure people would love to see this.

Thanks for the comments, I've made a few minor improvements to the track since I posted it and I will try to submit it to the add-ons site :)

I'm not sure which license to release under, my preference would be Public Domain as all the Blender work is my own. However is it possible to release like this, as the texture files referenced are in the data/textures folder and any download would not actually include them?

Now that I've played with making a first track to get to know the process I'm ready to make something of better quality/design so any suggestions of what the community here would like to see would be welcomed ;)

Yes, the license only apply to the files you actually include in the download, those that come with STK don't need to be in your license file

This is a cool track!
Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.
