Is there a fixed version of the Carousel track?

But it has a bug. It often won't count the laps correctly.
The abovementioned page says, "the lap counter now works correctly. ;-D" but it doesn't.
I downloaded Revision 4 (2020-11-26 13:30:32) and compared the md5 of each file with the ones in the 'carousel' directory I already had. They're all the same files.
Does anybody know of a version that works correctly?
