Hi,

How do I host a SuperTuxKart server? By that I mean, not simply hosting a multiplayer game room, but actually lending your bandwidth to allow others to connect to online games more quickly?

Unfortunately I don't see anything on the Community page explaining how to allow your computer to be used as a server. So I decided to ask in here.

It will not "allow others to connect to online games more quickly" though unless your server location is interesting

Thanks Benau! Is it ok if I only keep my computer running for a few hours at a time? I'm a bit nervous about leaving it on 24/7, because I don't want to wear it out.

I don't think it will do anything good to stk users if server just up for few hours, sorry about that...

As long as the server response time is not compromised, buying a cheaper computer is not a problem.
