Scoreboard Glitch?

Scoreboard Glitch?

Postby George Calibur » 14 Mar 2020, 16:34

I have noticed something weird: I do some results on tracks, but some days later, they dissappeared!
Is this normal? Or is it Just me?

Best-time data is specific to the track, difficulty, game mode and number of AIs.

Also, please post general questions in STK General forum, not STK Contributions. This forum is for models, tracks, sound and music for STK.

Did you change the number of laps? Did you change the number of AI? If you did, try changing them back.

Are they missing for one race, or for all of them?

The scores for the scoreboard are all stored in a file called highscore.xml , located in the configuration folder:

On Windows: It is in %APPDATA%/supertuxkart/config-0.10 (you can enter that in the Explorer and it will take you there)
On Linux: It is either in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/supertuxkart/config-0.10 (first choice), ~/.config/supertuxkart/config-0.10 (second choice) or in ~/.supertuxkart/config-0.10 (third choice).
On Mac OS X: It is in ~/Library/Application Support/supertuxkart/config-0.10. Note that this directory may be hidden.

If you upload that file and tell us exact details about the race the high scores are for (which track, number of laps, number of karts, multiplayer or not, name of difficulty setting, reverse or normal, race or time trial), we can search it to see if the scores are there, or if there are similar ones.
(Be aware, this will mean that we see all the SuperTuxKart account names in that file.)

Alright, thanks! Like I said, I'll still need to know what scores you think are missing. You still have over a hundred highscores in there.
