I am new to modeling. I made a small car but no longer do more. The wheels are not mine, I took them from somewhere else so I have to make some myself. The idea is a kind of typical school bus. But it does not represent any software. Do not know if this is important.

Anyway, tell me how I can improve it.

Oh my, why so many polygons? Hehe

I think you need to know some of the basic techniques of modelling, watching videos at Youtube can teach you a lot about how people model great meshes.

The problem with your kart is that it is very rectangular, and it lacks of detail. I would recommend you to watch some video tutorials, and find out about using reference images to improve the bus model.

If I am not wrong, you are building off your model from a subdivided cube, and then you moved around the faces to give the mesh a bus shape. Your mistake was that you subdivided way more than you needed, and that doesn't only make it more difficult to manipulate the model later, but it also makes your model take up more processing power when in the game.

You need to aim for low poly modelling, basically; and its also good because it is with that type of modeling that one should learn how to create 3D objects.

I suggest you to buy a DVD with video lessons ( this is the way I learned, it's easy to starting modelling )
