I want to improve this track with some textures but images don't fit like i want. The main reason is the pillars and the bridge have the same texture "brick.png", i don't know how to modify this with blender.

Here the textures and what I like to do with:

Thank you.

I see that you also put a statue of Nolok, it's great! I think walls of this castle need more decorations like paintings or torchs.

No, that was me ;)

And yes, this track basically needs to be completely redone, we just need a skilled 3D artist

I'm just beginning with modeling so not me for the moment but i want to learn with stk tracks. I can export some models with blender but i can't open a B3D track. :(
By the way i use wings3D it's more easier. Can we make decent tracks with this software?

The .blend files for all tracks are in our media repository (http://supertuxkart.svn.sourceforge.net ... edia/trunk) - though be aware of the size, its like 300 MB or so. But you can easily download only all files for one track.

We don't have any scripts to support this - so the only option would then be to export from wings3d, import into blender, then use our scripts. I can't comment on this approach at all.

Cheers,
Joerg

Hi,

no Wings3D is not supported, and it most likely never will be. The main reason is that wings3D is very rudimentary compared to blender, it misses a lot of features like the property browser or ability to add empties, or even just the ability to make scenes IIRC, so it is unlikely that we can support it.

The attachment Volcanic Rock.png is no longer available

It's a good idea tracks need some funny animated things like that!

I try blender but i suxx with it, sorry there is no other word ... Anyway i can import some wings .obj to blender and then convert him with no problem, so i can't make tracks for the moment but i can make some decorations and other useless things ahahah.

An idea for this track, i can make pillars, chains and texture (i have also a little start of a new castle in cartoon style) but not the track :(

I tested the track it's good but like the others tracks too easy for the moment we need something like Rudy's idea.
I have no music on this race, anyway i think a music like that fit better than the old one.

Very cool dakal... I really like the style. It has a Nintendo-ish feel to it!
