Startrack improvements

Hi all.
I was thinking that star track was one of the not so good looking tracks in the game, and then I saw this image on the wiki:

I thought it looked cool, so I improved startrack to make it like the picture. (I left out the ice river. I donn't know if I will add it or not.) C&C welcome.
It was also discuss a lng time ago having the UFO beams reset karts. should this happen? It is possible now and I wasn't then which is why it wasn't done then i think. ;)

Great! I like it!

Just some comments:

I think there should be an alternative way. I've been doing this in my track edits a bit but I think this one needs one.

Make a better texture for the ground. Maybe a space dust one. This one looks to childish.

And the polls I think should have a bit of weathering from space dust.

Other then that I think it's perfect!

And yes the beams should reset karts. But they should at least cross the track instead of going along it.

no, it probably wont be used at all because it is too close to Rainbow Road from MK.

One idea for an improved star track is to have part of the track on Saturn's ring. I think that would be really cool.

Hero {l Wrote}:Space dust for the ground.

That could be a cool idea if it were to kick up shiny particles as you drove through it.

Seems kinda like a reversion to gown's bow - is that a bad thing?

yeah we definitely don't want a rainbow track, no matter how well down, because it's too obviously copied from Mario Kart
