I build an Arena Mesh for STK-soccer - need to be finishe

Hello. I build an Arena for STK-Soccer,

I actually just made a Mesh. Never done textures with Blender. But if somebody could help me to do the textures, we have a new stadion.
I've already installed the STK add-on in blender. I can add items and nitro. Colors are just experimental.

Currently I try to draw the lines for the game on the infield. But I have no idea, what can be done by mesh and what by texture?

I also work with GIMP and created this .png which I want to use on the infield.

It is an ice-hockey add-on. About 110-120% the length of the STK-fields. The splines on the sidewalls shall have normal gravity like on the infield (90°).
I want the infield white and the splines on the sidewalls shall be with blue ice.png-texture like on the ice-field arena. Ring-walls will be white.
The infield-ines will be red/blue and the border of the infield will have also a red/blue-line, in contrast to the spline-walls, for the orientation.
There is a cupola (not shown on image) I want to make transparent and with a blue sky and white sheep-clowds.
Perhaps a few colored commercial for freeware programs, with our driving carácters, on a ring below the cupola? - I would leave this to you.

I am looking for somebody to help me to finish this project, And I want to learn how to make textures and the add-on implementation.

Textures are just images, you have to either take them from media repo / specific websites like opengameart / ambientcg, or just use any graphical editor like gimp. For testing physical properties of arena, any texture is fine (even a blue 256x256 square - but for the final version it's better to think more about the texture).

Mesh is just a physical model, its faces should be covered with textures. For every texture, create a new material, select an image in its properties, and then specify the needed STK properties in the same menu. You can assign a material to a face by selecting the face, the material in object properties, and by pressing Assign. Make sure every face is facing the correct direction (you can enable Backface Culling for every material to not see the face texture if it's facing wrong direction, and Alt+N F to flip normals for a set of faces in edit mode). I'm pretty busy doing other stuff including own addons but answering questions is what I can do too

to be honest, I do meshes since 30y. I also did vessel-meshes for some other simulator. But I never got this texture stuff done with Blender. I try for years!
I already spend 30h working time into this texture and nothing works!

I would appreciate If I can mail you the mesh, with what I created, for corrections.

OK Kimden and others,

I found the yellow dot! I can add .png's in white, red and blue. But how to use it with ice.png? It looks like smeere.
I play arround since a while and I don't know how to adjust the tiles to the center?

Faces need to know which exact part of texture they are mapped into. For that, there's UV mapping. Go to Edit mode, select a face or a few, then look at UV editor menu - the editor will show to what those faces are mapped on the texture. You can move those vertices in the UV mapping as you like, or press U in the 3D Viewport (where the object is) to unwrap automatically.

What is usually done is:
- those edges which don't have to be mapped into the same place in UV mapping by its faces are marked as seams (Edge → Mark as seam)
- by pressing U → Unwrap an automatic unwrapping is done
- then it can be adjusted in UV editor, for example, scaled

So far the Infield could be done. But with the Spline-Walls... Too advanced to let it look like an ice-field. But I need some contrast.

Next questions:
- Gravity?
- Items?
- Slidyness?
- Goal-Lines?

How to make an add on out of it?
Is there any tutorial? Things to know, before I waste time?
