I completed XR591 intermediate in story mode, but I don't get the trophy, why?
And what are nitro points?

This is a nitro challenge, you have to collect enough nitro while racing and end the race at or above the required amount.

An indication on the HUD for collected nitro would be handy.

Just look at the nitro bar in the bottom-right. Though beware, in 0.9.3, the length along the bar is not very informative, a nitro can will move the bar much less at the end than at the start.
