RC2 game start and finish in seconds

Today I've installed RC2 con windows, select the map with the lighthouse after some second the race end and I see the results.

That's strange - do you actually race (i.e. crossing the starting line), or nothing at all? And after the results you can go back to the main menu screen?

Could you start the game from a terminal (command prompt, then cd DIRECTORY_OF_SUPERTUXKART, then ./supertuxkart.exe, and post any warnings you might see?

Do you mean the test grandprix with 0 laps on lighthouse that hiker put in.

I've removed RC2 and installed 0.7 but now I don't know why lighthouse map is locked. So I can't test it.

I've a different problem that I hadn't with RC2 now the sound lag, like a delay effect and is really slow...

Because you need to beat challenges, simply ;)
