Now Christmas is past, so where is STK 0.7 beta?

The best answer I can give now is "soonish", but sorry, not precise dates can be given (maybe Joerg has a better idea)

Due to 'real life' commitments we can't really give a much better estimation. We hope to release an alpha version in a week or two - which would be used by artists to convert existing tracks and/or create new tracks. During this time we will be busy fixing bugs, and potentially adding more features (we don't intend to add many new features in 0.7, but if a track would benefit from certain features we might try to add them in). Once this is done and we have the tracks converted, we should be able to do a beta release. But I can't really say when this will be - depends on the bugs, how long it takes to convert tracks, ...
