Hello!
What a great game, that SuperTuxKart! I LOVE it, my son too.
I am busy with a book in which I help people manage their games. On a CD-ROM I supply free programs and tips, and I also want to include your game. May I do that? I will credit you ofcourse in my book!
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Jurjen "Djiebie" Bakker

I guess you meant to move it to the SuperTux
Kart forum?

In any case, STK is libre, so the answer is "yes". The license of the game permits this, so you don't need special permission.

Need to pick up more nitro.

Djiebie: yes, you can redistribute the game any way you want, as long as you don't strip out our licensing information and also supply the source code upon request.

Although, just to clarify, are you asking about the legal terms our just about whether we'd like that?
On legal terms, Arthur is right, you are allowed so long as you keep the license statement, don't pretend you are the author of the game, and include the source code (or offer to provide it on demand), as such are the terms of the GPL (you may want to check the terms of the GPL for more details)
If you want to know whether we'd like to be distributed on CD, that may require a bit more information? If you intend to sell these CDs and make a profit of it, it would be appreciated if you gave back a little something. If no profit is made, then of course there is no issue
