Hi there,

I have $100+ to help with bugs on the SuperTuxKart side of bountysource.com
https://www.bountysource.com/teams/supertuxkart/issues

Could you please download the Firefox Addon and Up Vote the bugs so I know which one to include when I give to charity, thank-you.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bountysource/

At the moment there isn't anyone interacting - so I don't know which are the 'priority bugs'.
Afterall, there are nearly 300 issues on here and I'd like to contribute to the coders in the background, cheers.

This is purely charity and I am not trying to 'control' the project by adding new features or anything... I'm just trying to get bugs dealt with, cheers.

Hello

Thanks for your interest in stk however I have some question :)

What is exactly bounty source ?
What's the difference between using bounty source and making a regular donation in our paypal account ?
How important bugs are decided ?

Thanks

Sam

The money is not for stk, but for the person who solves the issue which has a bounty.

Basically by the community voting, though I think there's nothing wrong with us voting as well, e.g. to direct 'external' contributors to things we consider important - at least that's my understanding ;)

The thing I don't understand is:

What exactly do you mean with charity? Afaik the bounty should go to the developer fixing the issue.

Cheers,
Joerg

Bountysource video is available here:

As far as the charity side of things , I mean to attract developers to the project that are in place like India and other 3rd world places ; where $100 goes along way.

So far there is one vote, which is good. I'll leave it two months and then put $100 on the top bounty.
I hope you don't think I'm taking away from the project in any way .. I'm just funding the little guy t'is all.
