Hi all...

For a few years I had STK 0.7.3 installed on my copy of Ubuntu 10.04....until the hard drive crashed a couple weeks ago.

I've since replaced the drive and installed Lubuntu 14.04 (x32,) as 10.04 for desktops is no longer being supported and I needed a more recent version of Linux that could handle newer web browsers. However, the repositories only carry the most recent release of STK, 0.8.1, I think.

I liked 0.7.3 and prefer to stay with it. I've been able to install 0.7+dfsg1-2 but it's lacking features that I miss from 0.7.3. I can't seem to find it in Ubuntu's package site. The PPA here doesn't have an entry for my version of Lubuntu (or Ubuntu.)

Is there anywhere or any way I could get the 32 bit debs for 0.7.3 and any needed dependencies? Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know where you can find a debian package of STK 0.7.3, but if you want you can try to compile and install 0.7.3 yourself. The source is at https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-cod ... tag/v0.7.3 and compiling should be pretty straightforward using https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-cod ... .3/INSTALL.

You can download package from sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/supertu ... art/0.7.3/
Or yu can try to download it from debian wheezy repository. Debian has even archive system where they store packages with every version which was in repos. Maybe ubuntu has something similar.
Or ideally try to compile it yourself. You will avoid problems with missing libraries

I checked and version from sourceforge works for me on Ubuntu 14.10. It should work also on Ubuntu 14.04.

It should run without any problems when you use run_game.sh script. But if it won't start (hopefully it won't happen ), try to open it in terminal. It will say which libraries are missing. You will need to install them.
