hi to all
there is a way to make more realistic the game?

I noted that if in a game i start after half loop (about 30 seconds it depends on the circuit) i'm anyhow able to reach the others cars.

Tks

Hello :)

What do you mean by realistic. Graphics or the physics. The AI reacts to player's behavior but it also depends on the difficulties. I can guarantee you, in supertux difficulty there is no way to reach the karts if you start after 30 seconds.

For the graphics we are working on them. They should be available on the upcoming release.

Hi and tks for the answer.

For exsample i made this proof more then one time:
level : expert
track : ranch
loop : 3

start after 30 seconds and get before all

I think the problem is also that in theese condition the program get you more possibility to get power element etc...

sorry for my english...i'm italian

tks

Right, if you are a certain distance behind, the AI slows down so it can be possible to catch up. However they don't do this on the highest difficulty called "SuperTux". So that's basically what you want.

According to the release notes, it seems the SuperTux difficulty was a new feature in STK 0.8.1, so I guess you have an older version.

Hi,

sorry, I can't read Italian, so I'm not sure about the error. But what if you try to install this : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=30679 ?

For being "realistic", you could try to play the "time trial" game mode, in this mode there are no powerups so it's straighter racing

I assume you did install the redistributable that came with our installer?

Googling for "_crtCreateSymbolicLinkW msvcr110.dll" showed a few potentially useful links:

http://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/312 ... vcr110dll/
http://www.unknowncheats.me/forum/battl ... cr110.html
Maybe you need a newer version of the redistributable, or if this doesn't work, maybe an older version ;)

Cheers,
Joerg

It couldn't find the entry point in the DLL, so it must have been a wrong version of the DLL.

BTW I used this site:

http://www.microsoft.com/Language/en-US/Search.aspx

to search for "punto di ingresso"

which is why I asked for your windows version. If you are on an old version, there's nothing much we can do about it, but if you are on a newer version, perhaps we might need to re-package with a newer version of the redistributable.

Thanks!
