Encrypted highscore in the future?

Encrypted highscore in the future?

Postby Egg42 » 27 Apr 2014, 16:34

Hi
Because I play with my two brother on the same computer and search a project to get in touch with c++, I was going to make a simple ranking, using the high score stored in the xml files. But because I'm a beginner in programming, I'm slow in developing it. On the other hand, I know you are on the way to secure high-score, in order to make the internet version. So, would the high-score file be encrypted in the near or far future?
Thanks

PS
Wonderful work from the team, keep it up :)

No, I don't see any reason to encrypt them (encryption with open source is ... doesn't make too much sense). The internet version with (perhaps) online highscores will work differently (and is at this stage not fully designed).
