In Options User Interface settings with puzzle.
Below maybe language selection.
"System Language" - perhaps "Language" sounds better.
Strings "peach" and "ocean" shows on English only.

"System Language" means the language of your (operating) system, so just "Language" would be confusing I think?

IMHO I don't see the interest to translate the GUI skin.

"System Language" - perhaps "default", "reset" sounds better.
Strings shows on English only - this bug.
Where "label" with caption "Language" for "listbox"?

Sorry, I'm not I fully understand you.

The languages list has no caption. Skin names cannot currently be translated due to technical limitations, but I don't think this is very important. I am unsure I understand correctly the other things you mention

The languages list has no caption - dislike me.

Strings "peach" and "ocean" shows on English only - dislike me
(some players wants full translation without any foreign strings).

I had confuse with string "System Language" - dislike me.

Anyway, the game like me! :D
I first saw this game on Linux Ubuntu.

I personally think that it is clear that this list influences the interface language. :think:

It would be nice if they were translatable, but I understand that from the developers' point-of-view, this is not easy to do.

Sorry Joerg, I don't think it's fixed. With your change the sorting is all weird :( Now it's sorted like :

* English
* Spanish
* Basque
* Finnish
etc.

IMO it must be alphabetical order

That looks as if it's still using the ISO codes for the sorting: en, es, eu, fi, ...

How about national flag for countries?

Sounds good, but is a bad idea. Too many countries are multilingual.

Countries have not so much official languages
and one national flag.

-1 for national flags.

FInding the flags would probably be reasonably easy, but it would be a lot of work to make sure every lanugage has the correct flag, and some places there may even be controversies over which flag to use. Too much work for little gain in my opinion.

OK, so we remove my translation then to solve the flag problem, because my language only has "official respect" rather than being "official"?

I have translated into Gaelic, so I could claim the Scottish flag right now for my translation. Now, maybe in the future a Scottish Lowlander will join the project and want to translate into Lallans or Doric. He will want the same flag, and quite right too. You have a solution for that?

Or what about South Africa, for example. Imagine we get translations for, let's say Zulu, Xhosa and Afrikaans. Who gets the flag? Or Canadian French, Canadian English (I guess First Nations will have their own flags) ...

So, it wouldn't just be a matter of finding flags & implementing, because we could end up with multiple languages having the same flag. The relation is not bijective.

Sorry if I'm acting a bit thin-skinned here, but Scotland is multilingual, and if you're involved with a minority language you can feel like Don Quixote sometimes. ;)

Anyway, we already have a -1 on this and I agree with that.

+1 string to translate. Useless work. Please don't think kids are that stupid. It's obvious what this list of languages mean. "Game language" won't clarify the situation.

In Belgium we have 3 languages. If they are presented with flags it's usually the Belgian flag followed by either the Dutch, French or German flag.

Well, if you would follow a Scottish Flag by an English one to represent Lowland Scots, you wold have a riot on your hands :twisted:

Without national flags only.
Dutch(Belgium)
French(Belgium) or German(Belgium)
Sorry if something wrong.

Not obvious. I had confuse with it.
Show me at least 1 game without string such as "language"!

Strings "peach" and "ocean" still shows on English only.
Some players will blames translators and development team for not full translation.
Shame. Cool games have full translation support!

Cool games actually often don't have any translations at all. Too costly to hire people for. We on the other hand have to look at time + effort = benefit. In this case, making those two words translatable and marking all languages with their supposed national flag has too much of the time and effort part and too little of the benefit part.
