Physics bug - get stuck on the wall

Today I'm playing mines track and accidently drive the kart onto the wall ... then the kart stuck on the wall, can't fall down :| ... I tried to press ESC to in-game menu, and a window occurs, no any icons in it :| ... After rescue the icons in menu display correctly ...

Is it a bug? Next time I'll try to reproduce it ...

It's a known bug that sometimes the in-game menu is broken :( I have no idea why

About physics, it's also known that there are cases where a rescue is necessary... sorry, physics will probably be improved after 0.7

And these two bugs are connected tightly... maybe because when showing menu the physics is still running, then unknown bug occurs ;) ...

I'm not a coder but...
Why not suspend the physics like how you suspend an OS's state when it hibernates, and run the menu in a separate "module"?
Just a suggestion to implement in the next release

I don't quite understand your post, and I think you're mixing things up here; the broken menu and the physics issue are not related.

Actually, the menu issue has now been identified to be an irrlicht bug; a workaround for the menu bug has been added in SVN until irrlicht fixes the bug

Now it looks like that Irrlicht has too much bugs and missing features :( ...
