one question about cannons

i ckecked all three tracks with a cannon (farm, fort magma and mines(new version))
in these tracks they are only animated
in object-panel it is set to "objects", "cannon start" and "cannon end" is unused

does it not work with these object-types at the moment???

i also can't choose an object, that i want to have as cannon-ball

As far as I know, the Cannon Start and Cannon End object types are for "cannons" that launch karts, and not objects, to another place.
I did not ever use those so far, so I am not sure how it works. But it would certainly be nice to have a track with a "kart cannon"... ;)

for this effect you can use "Zipper (Speed Boost)" checkbox in material-properties

Correct, it allows you to shoot a kart (along an arbitrary path), and could be used e.g. to avoid boring uphill sections ;)
