Five laps around the track Hillside against three opponents, the level of "expert." Why so long drove my competitors?

Have you tried following them and see how they cope? I know that track is pretty badly designed, so no wonder if the AI has problems with it.

No, I was not trying to follow his behavior. http://laol.p.ht/What.png - seen here than all those 75 minutes doing my opponents.

Another mystery.

I disqualify immediately after the start. How SuperTuxKart found time all the players?
And why Puffy was the first - he's remained all nine minutes.

Translation - Google.

Hi,

sorry for the late reply, we are just too busy with GSoC stuff atm.

The Hillside addon is really bad - imho it should never have been approved. The drivelines are too high, so the AI will often think it's off-track, resulting in this odd behaviour. We don't fix addon tracks ourselves, that's up to the artists who designed them, but we will consider unapproving it. The really long times are then a result of the AI being stuck.

OK, now that's something I don't understand tbh. Which game mode did you play? Follow-the-leader? If not, what exactly do you mean with disqualify? Where you being rescued? Can you reproduce this issue, and let us know how? It might be related to incorrect track design, I haven't seen something like this before, but even then I'd like to fix STK to avoid incorrect race results.

Cheers,
Joerg

This track "what a mesh". I drove a normal race (5 laps), but "give up race" immediately after the start (I have not even started to go).
I was able to reproduce this nonsense with the fifth time, now mozilla - a leader with a time of 99:59:99, while its competitors were driving about 30 minutes.

Hi,

thanks for this info. It took me a while to figure out how to reproduce it (I gave up immediately after 'go' was on screen, but you actually have to wait for at least one kart to cross the start line). For now I've opened a ticket:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/super ... ticket/903
