In the new version, if you select greek language every word is missing a letter and it's the letter that needs the symbol < ' >.

You say "in the new version". Did it use to be okay in previous versions?

Greek isn't on the STK language list for 0.7.3 as far as I can see.

In 0.8 Greek words like Internet and Story Mode are untranslated.

Getting the same error. Any letter that has an accent simply does not display. And there's more accents than ΄, there's also ¨ and ΅ (a combination of the two).

NB: I'm Greek too, just living abroad for now.

Yes you're right there are untranslated parts, too. In the story mode the half conversation is translated and the other half is not.

OK. This should indeed be fixed; for the time being you can switch to English or whatever you want in Options.
It's very hard to find good fonts with all letters for the numerous languages. :(

The Greek translation is still short 43 strings. Maybe you would enjoy helping with that? http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Translating_STK

Missing letters are likely caused by those characters not being included in the fonts we have. In this case we can either try to substitute them from a different font (which might look ugly), or add a new font ... if someone gives us a font we can use.

Best option would be to register, than you can change the translations yourself.

Cheers,

I created a ticket so that we don't forget the issue. Maybe this will be fixed in 0.8.1 but no promise
