I have a question,
Will Supertuxkart run in Windows 8 with the touch gestures?

It's been tested already and shown to work (EDIT: Actually, it was 0.7.3 that was tested, but I see no reason for 0.8 to suddenly stop working). I guess it will not run in Metro (or what was previously known as Metro), but in classic desktop mode.

If you mean using Touch Gestures, not the play. Touch gestures if I understand correctly is the equivalent of mouse which can't be used to PLAY STK. So you might be able to use it on the menus but not for races. But the game will run if Arthur says it will.

i have Windows 8 x64 Final Pro version.
STK 0.8 Alpha Svn Work without error, inside Windows 8 x64 final pro version.
inside STK 0.8 Alpha Svn i can race against 19 Karts "without lag".

Well, it is not allowed to. Only apps from the Windows store are allowed to use "Metro".
