kart:track scaling?

I was thinking that some of the tracks are too long, have too wide roadways, overly gentle curves making them easy/boring

Would it be possible/practical/a good idea to scale karts up/down even have evtra exaust pipes or suchlike depending on difficulty settings?
i.e Easy would make tracks feel like amazonian jorney, Hard would make them like the old mine or around the lighthouse

Hmmm I'm not sure, this would require a LOT more playtesting, we would then need to make sure that tracks are playable at all levels of scale. So I'm not sure that's something we want. Besides we would quickly need to tweak it by track, etc.
