Linux package manager update

On my operating system (Linux Mepis) in the package manager, the supertuxkart version is 0.6.2. Even when I refresh it, it stays the same. Can someone update the package manager to have version 0.7.3?

That's a work for your OS packagers/maintainers. For example, ubuntu/debian have 0.7.x version (0.7.3 for ubuntu 12.10) and that's thanks to some people who maintain this game in ubuntu/debian repository.
