hi,

i found another bug on hardcore fort magma & secret garden. do not have texture.

The following questions should make it easier to figure out/reproduce the problem:
What version of SuperTuxKart are you running?
What operating system are you running on?
What graphics card do you use?
What version of the graphics cards drivers are you using?

Also check if any warning is printed on the terminal. It might be that these add-ons used old textures from the main /data/textures directory, that were deleted later. That is a problem, add-ons should probably contain their own textures

This is indeed the case, in r10167 and r10366 (and r10375) textures were deleted, that are used by addon tracks :(

My suggestion: we add a textures/deprecated directory to put the old textures in. Hopefully no one will then pick the inferior textures, while we can still support all addons.

Of course, forcing each addon to contain all textures would be nice, but probably more work. Ticket (#666) created.

I think this may be a bug with and older version of irrlicht (and probbaly an older version of STK). You may need to wait for STK 0.8

ok Auria, Is this a version STK 0.8 Alpha test will go out in August?

'A ... alpha' version does not really help us (we have not released any alphas, so no idea where your version is coming from). We would need the SVN revision number. And if it's not the latest, then I can just say: please update to the latest SVN.

I don't think that 0.8 will be ready on August (not even a RC).

STK 0.8 still have much problem and trouble, especially for the stable, shade effect (am i wrong ?) improve water texture effect or whatever i don't understand ( except about animation and 3d model ), except someone directly be a volunteer and show useful help. :lol:
