Not really. There are a few things you can try: first reduce the graphical details in the options of STK. If this doesn't help, find your config file (~/.config/supertuxkart/config.xml), and modify the entry:

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}

   <Video
...
        max_fps="120"
        renderer="0"
        />


Make max_fps smaller, e.g. try 60, 40, or 30.
