supertuxkart can't running

hi,
i can't running the supertuxkart, this is the error:
Irrlicht Engine version 1.8.0-alpha
Linux 3.2.7 #2 SMP Fri Feb 24 17:41:25 CST 2012 x86_64
Could not load sprite bank because the file does not exist: #DefaultFont
[FileManager] Data files will be fetched from: '/home/dhamma/stksvn/share/games/supertuxkart/'
[FileManager] Addons files will be stored in '/home/dhamma/.local/share/supertuxkart/addons'.
[translate] Env var LANGUAGE = 'en_US'

Adding language fallback en

how to solve this error?

Hi,
this looks like you are using a binary and data files of different versions. For instance you can't use data files from SVN with the 0.7.3 executable. Make sure you use the same version of everything

Hi, I just download and install SuperTuxKart from the ubuntu software center, but I open the game, see the menu, and when I click on the wheel icon, the application closes.. how can I fix this??

Can you run supertuxkart in a terminal, and post the output here?

i'm using the latest irrlicht-svn and supertuxkart-svn, i'm using slackware-current x86_64

Try to do a make clean and then rebuild.

And also, make sure you have no other STK installation on your disk
