BUGS

Postby Ollivander » 13 Dec 2011, 21:36

I found a bit of a bug in the game. If a user drives to the mountains by the side, he falls into a loop that cuts the graphics...

What track was it?
Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

Workaround: just don't do it. :p
Why would you go there anyway?

I admit I am not sure what you mean. Can you post a screenshot of where you are driving, then we can try to reproduce this.

Thanks!

I have also noted this problem. If you take sharp right in shifting sands head towards mountains, you fall off into a crevasse and graphics cut out.

Yeah yeah, but people actually playing the game (as opposed to people fooling around trying to find the boundaries of the track) won't ever see this. Non-issue. If you want it completely out of reach, get the blend file for the track and add a transparent plane or two.

I have fooled quite a bit around myself, with the debug flight mode and all, but I guess 99% of users won't see track boundaries and their graphical weirdness. And for the percentage that does, they'll probably not get epileptic symptoms. They'll just fall into a void, and after a while get rescued and put back on track. I admit it doesn't look pretty, but as said, you aren't likely to go there by accident, and most people won't ever see this.
