STK or RVGL for this project?

Hello friends. I'm thinking of a game project called Banran RC, but instead of a game from scratch, I want to choose one of the 2 games and gamify it by modifying it. What do you think?

* RVGL: They developed it by forking Re-Volt's XBOX codes, but the codes are closed. We can change cars, levels, menu and gfx styles. But special abilities go in the bin. It's like arena mode. I'll delete the maps at most.
* SuperTuxKart: Popular game of the Linux world and its codes are open to the root. We can change cars, sections, menu and gfx styles. We can write special ability code system. But I will wait for 1.5. I will remove some features, such as Soccer, Add-ons, Arena, etc.

If you want to fork STK, you are fine as long as the license requirements are satisfied.

Regarding the rest, I have no idea, it's your project after all. I don't really understand which type of feedback you expect to this post, but it's worth noting that STK itself needs more contributors, and if you are ready to change cars, sections (?), menu and gfx styles, you might be welcome in the main game as well.
