Fort Magma-Bug in AI

Whenever I play Fort Magma w/ novice AI, it seems that almost always I end up w/ 1 kart bashing it's feet into the wall(when you enter the 'fort' part of the track, on the first sharp turn) and then rescuing for the rest of the game.

Yeah we are aware the AI needs improvements. This one I had never heard heard before, though. Joerg, you know the AI better than I do, do you know why this happens and how to fix?

I've seen that happen, but not for the whole race... I normally play on Medium AI so this wouldn't happen.

I've seen it quite often - the drivelines could perhaps be tweaked in the corners to avoid this.

I have seen the same thing on the track "Green valley"
tarratulla was always hitting the same rock.
I have tried to make a screen shoot (after I finished the race but I was to slow).

imho: The problem is a kind of "Loop"

kart crashes(at position x)---> kart is rescued (to position y)--> kart moves (to position x) --> kart crashes .....

to break this "loop" the "rescue-return-point" could get a random parametar so the "rescue-return-point"No1 != "rescue-return-point"No2

Tested, and I'm pretty sure this is all on Novice, since I normally use Medium AI and there's no chance on Expert since there's already so many other issues with Expert (Turning Karts around, bumping, etc.)

The only AI level that is close to solid right now is Medium, so just use that

UPDATE: In the RC, slapping the errant kart with a swatter seems to solve the problem.
EDIT: Actually, hitting it with anything solves it.
