New updates in main-menu STK

Hi. I would like in new updates in STK appears in main-menu STK. I would like in text: New SuperTuxKart 0.x has been released (<- number version) and button Update. For example: "New SuperTuxKart 0.7.3 has been released" Next to user clicking Update and downloading and installing new version of STK. I suggest added function at menu About. Near about: SuperTuxKart 0.7.2, button Check updates.

indeed we will use the news when a new release is available.
However automatic updates would be more difficult since on many systems this would require administrator priviledges
