If this happens in all night tracks and only in them, it might point to an issue with the headlight of the kart. You can confirm this is related to the track activating kart headlights?

The game may also handle the headlight issue more gracefully of course, crashing is never nice.

Not sure if you check your message but you are using a very old STK (either 1.0 or 1.1), also what is your anime themed kart? (not available to stk-addons?)
