To start off, thank you so much to all the people that made STK possible, my kids don't do a lot of video-games and this is a great non violent way to get into it, and especially in local multiplayer mode so they can play with friends and family !

My suggestion or feature request would be to add to STK the possibility of helping a player in multiplayer mode to avoid big gaps between players which have different levels of skill and are used to or not to the gamepads and racing games. The use case is as follows : 4 kids play a multiplayer game, but one of the younger ones is learning to use the gamepad so often ends up stuck or on the side of the road or in the water, so that last player doesn't often see the other cars and ends up no participating in the fun of the gifts they get or the excitement of the race.

My suggestion would be to add an option to that player so that they have a "helper" option (or specific car) that stays on the road.

This would be kind of like when in Bowling they add the side railings to prevent the ball from falling on the side for kids or people with a handicap (see https://duckduckgo.com/?q=bowling+kids+ ... &ia=images or https://duckduckgo.com/?q=bowling+acces ... &ia=images for examples)

Optionally we could have an option to disable the assisted mode when in racing mode when the said player is in first place for example.

Maybe there could be different levels of helpers, to help with the progression of the person learning the game or the gamepad.

In local multiplayer mode you can enable a handicap (which makes your kart a little bit slower), so handicapping the experienced players and not the others can help a bit. Currently there's only one handicap level, but that might change in the future.
