Why does STK 1.2 not offer disabling sending statistics?

Since STK 1.2 (armv7 on Android), there is no button anymore to disable sending anonymous statistics (General => Internet options). Is there a reason for this? Is it not possible anymore to use STK (1.2) online without sending anonymous statistics? Which data are transmitted? Would you please consider adding that button back, so users can disable that function? (as it was in STK 1.1) Thank you!
PS: The git20200511 version still had that button.
