STK doesn't startup since Natty

STK doesn't startup on a new installation of Natty (Ubuntu). On Maverick worked it all right, but that was the older (0.6) version, this should be 0.7. When I try to start it the screen is flashing 2-3 times and then it stops.
If I try it to start with the Terminal it says:

ann@ann-laptop:~$ supertuxkart
Irrlicht Engine version 1.7.2
Linux 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011 i686
[FileManager] Data files will be fetched from: '/usr/share/games/supertuxkart/'
[IrrDriver] Creating NULL device

[IrrDriver] Tring to create device with 32 bits
[IrrDriver Temp Logger] Level 2: GL_INVALID_ENUM
[IrrDriver Temp Logger] Level 2: Could not bind Texture
failure to revalidate BOs - badness
supertuxkart: ../../radeon/radeon_cs_gem.c:181: cs_gem_write_reloc: Controletest 'boi->space_accounted' faalt.
Afgebroken (=means stopped)

Can someone help me? I can't handle my children if it doesn't work...
Thanks,

Árpi

My first guess is that you're using a graphics driver that doesn't match too well with your hardware. If you're currently using the free drivers, try switching to the ATI binary drivers, or vice versa if you already have the non-free ATI drivers.

I agree with Arthur, this looks very much like a problem with your drivers. Nothing we can do about this, except recommending to try different drivers.

Cheers,

I didn't install non-free or any specific drivers. Maybe Natty installed different drivers than Maverick?
Thanks for your quick answers, I will have a look at home.

So you definitely should try with the proprietary drivers ;)
