problems with joystick

Hello, I have some questions about Joysticks.

I have a Wheel Joystick, I can turn to the right great, but when I turn to the left slowly the kart start turning to the right. I need to turn the wheel completely to turn left properly.
I have another problem turning to the left but is with keyboard. If I push the boost button I can turn to the right great, but I can't turn to the left. I read in the *FAQ about the problem with some keyboards, so maybe is that.

Another question about joysticks; STK supports vibration?

your keyboard problem is very likely the FAQ one, yes
Regarding vibration, I'm sorry, we don't support that

Regarding the wheel, is it properly centered? Try opening STK from terminal with flag --gamepad-visualisation , do the values look balanced when you move the wheel?

Yes, the wheel is centered. The problem is under Ubuntu 11.04, in Chakra works great.
