Translation of Song Names
Posted: 01 Jun 2020, 23:09Some time ago, I got an e-mail asking me to pitch in in favor of making STK song titles translatable. But I don't think that's a good idea at all. This is why: when you're listening to the radio and you hear a song you like, you want to know what it's called and who it's by so that you can find it and download it from the torrents (or buy it if you're super boring 
). But it doesn't help you at all if the radio web site tells you that the song is "Včera" by "Brouci". Because you'll never find that song or that band. Because it got translated to Czech but in fact, it's Yesterday by The Beatles, which you'll definitely find in every form imaginable. This is why I think that song names should never be translated in STK.
