New to STK. Where shall I find answers?

We are new to STK and liking it very much.
WE are not developers or designers or anything very fancy, just people who like to play SupeTuxKart!
We are running STK on:
Asus Prime Z390A, i7-9700k 3.6GHz, 32.0 GB ram, openSUSE Leap 15.1 64-bit, KDE Plasma 5.12.8 using a Logitech F310 controller.

Although openSUSE 15.1 only offers STK 0.9, we downloaded and installed the current version 1.1-2.1.

A couple of minor things we would like to ask about:
Is there a log of the high scores somewhere?
We have read through the Options and ? Help, but were wondering if there is other documentation available?
Looking for more detailed info on Story and challenges.

Thank You.

Hi,

high scores are stored in highscore.xml, in the same folder as config.xml (see https://supertuxkart.net/FAQ for the config folder location).

There is documentation available outside of the help, but most of it is really not about "how to play the game".

What do you want to know about the story mode and the challenges ?

I quess just looking for a general walk through of how to play in the story mode and the challenges.
How to get points to start a challenge.
How to start a challenge.

You receive points by completing challenges. When you start the game, some challenges require points while other "need" 0 points. Start with the one that "need" 0 points (and are thus open), and as you complete them more challenges will unlock. To start a challenge, just drive into its bubble and press the "fire" button (usually mapped to Space on the keyboard, not sure what the default is when using a gamepad), then select a challenge (Novice/Intermediate/SuperTux).

Also, if you win a challenge at a higher difficulty, you get more points.
