Where did the bots go?

Maybe I am missing something, but when the beta with online support first came out, I could start a local online game, and add bots to it. We have not played in a little bit, but now with 1.0, we tried to have a race on our local network tonight, and there was no option I could find to add bots. It gave me the difficulty setting, but no spot to add the number of bots, unless I just overlooked it. Has that been removed, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help.

Bots never exist in network other than testing server load, you can add a "weak" bots by using other stk instance:
./bin/supertuxkart --connect-now=127.0.0.1:2759 (or your server port) --network-ai=x (number) --no-graphics
